A Level Results 2019
Our A level results were again very strong, with 72.34% of grades at A*/A/B, with a pass rate of 99.79%. This represents an increase in both the pass rate and in the proportion achieving higher grades than in 2018, and the proportion achieving A*/A/B is the highest the school has achieved for many years. The proportion getting in to their first or second choice University offer remains at the high level of recent years.
A number of subjects achieved 100% at A*/A/B – Art, Drama/Theatre Arts, Electronics and English Literature. Other subjects saw a particularly strong performance, with more than 80% A*/A/B grades – Business 87.5%, Computing 94.12% German 80%, Maths 80% and Media Studies 83.33%. Many other subjects performed very well, given the starting points of their particular group of students.
