To all members of Poole Old Grammarians’ Association

Many of you will already be aware that new EU regulations come into force from 25 May 2018 regarding the holding of “personal data” by organisations.

As a membership organisation the information stored by the Association includes name, address and contact details.

The information is stored on the home computers of the Secretary and Chairman of the Association.

The information is being held to give members information regarding events and procedures organised or used by the Association. No contact information will be passed to other members without specific additional consent.

The information will be held for as long as the individual remains a member of the Association.

The Association does NOT share personal data with any other organisation.

The Executive Committee of the Association  is responsible for managing the data and they can be contacted via the school, addressed to Mr Nigel Paton, Secretary, Poole Old Grammarians’ Association, Poole Grammar School, Gravel Hill, Poole, Dorset, BH17 9JU.

Members should ensure that their details are kept up to date via the Secretary

Under the new regulations members must consent to their personal data being used by the officers of POGA for the purposes stated above.
